Default Another pushrod Question!!!!

Patriot 243 heads milled to 62cc (from 64cc stock) Comp cam 228R, I am still debating my self on cam selection, with 0.045" head gaskets. Should I install the 7.4" or the 7.35" pushrods. I have read that for each cc .06" is milled off. 0.060 stock gasket -0,045 is another 0.015" That would be 0.027 less than stock!
Thanks in advance for the help,
Don

Correct me if I'm wrong - but doesnt the cam lobes play a major part in the length of the pushrod also??

I believe it is the base circle of the cam not the lift that determines the length of the push rods.

So you wont know what pushrod length to go with until you've selected a specific cam.
