New cam for LQ9 in 78 trans am Since my computer is back for programming, I was thinking about switching the cam. I have a 78 trans am with a LQ9 engine and a 4L80E trans with a 2800 rpm stall. I was looking at a TR224 cam. How would this be for this appplication? What are other people choosing for the cam in this type of car? Is this too big of a cam or should I even worry about changing the cam?
