Crank and Cam inputs
I am thinking about using an LS type PCM on a 537 inch Cadillac engine. This is in a 54 Chevy truck using a fuel injected tunnel ram and a 4l80e trans. I would like to run Coil near plug ignition. I will be using the 12200411 PCM. This PCM will run a conventional smallblock Vortec engine with a distributor or an LS type engine with Coil near plug. I am looking for info or pictures of how the LS type engine gets its cam and crank inputs to the PCM. Does the cam have a reluctor ring and if so what is its tooth count? I know the crank has a reluctor ring on it, What is its tooth count? This PCM would run a 2001 Camaro operating system.
