Default Fast 90 ported, filled, shaved and painted

Well i decided to change up my new intake a little.. i shaved the fast and wilson lettering off the top of the intake, filled in the runners where the stock fuel rail cut outs where and behind the throttle body where the EGR plumming is.. then i sanded it down and painted the shell..

The bottom of the intake was ported to match my heads and the runners on the inside where removed.. I was undecided on the color that i wanted it.. but i stayed with the color of the car.. let me know what you think..

There are alot of pitts in the upper shell but it wasnt to bad, i just took it in stages and wasnt in a hurry, i started with 150 and worked to 350 on the sanding.. i also primered it 3 times and did a little sanding inbetween..

It took longer to fill the cut out in the center and shape it to look like the other runners..

I am in the middle of painting mine now and I hope it turns out half that good. This is my first real painting experience and I think I need more practice. I am following parbreak's how-to.

Nice job. I was considering painting my LS6 intake white, but have decided to leave it stock. I was still a little concerned about yellowing.

That looks sick. I've never seen white before nor would I think it would look anywhere near that good. Definitely post some installed pics as soon as you can.
