Default Any HP/TQ gains from just raising the lift on this cam??

Just what the title says guys. If so, just how much? compression is 11.1

228/232 .588 .595 111 to lets say 228/232 .620 .620-630 or higher 111 possibly a 110.

I've done a search but found nothing that will answer this specfic question.

well it will depend on your heads and how they flow. lets say at .580 they are at 300 CFM but at .600 they are at290 and .650 they are at 270 more lift will not help. cause the heads have started to reverse flow. but if the heads will flow that much lift the added lift will raise the graph at almost every piont. same graph and powerband just raised a couple HP and TQ 5 maybe on both.

well if your springs will handle it you could add 1.75 rockers for around .605/.612 lift but if you added 1.8s that might be alittle to agressive.you might be better off getting a slightly bigger cam like a t3 which has an lsk intake lobe and set it up on a 111+2 or so.

depends on cylinder heads, these motors like lift as long as airflow keeps going with it. (no stahl in the port)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses. I didnt think it would make that much difference anyways. The heads are PP stg2 so I would have to look into it to see if it would be even worth going that high in lift before I do another cam.

Now would going to a 232/234 or whatever I can fit under the 11.1 heads without P/V clearance becomes an issue end up giving me more power that way?
