shaved ls1 heads or stock 5.3 heads I have a 2000 sliverado 5.3L with a 04 ls6 cam, exhaust and tune. I also have a 2000 ss. I'm thinking of buying aftermarket heads for my camaro. I then was thinking of putting my stock ls1 heads on my truck. I figured that the cc's on the ls1 heads were greater than my stock 5.3 heads so i was going to shave them down a bit to keep my trucks compression up. Would this head swap work better (flow more) on my truck, or should I keep the stock 5.3 heads on there?
