Default please help!

I installed a spec unit about a month ago and now the cluth friction zone has dropped down to where the pressure plate isn't fully disengauging. I know the engagement point on the clutch pedal will change as it breaks in. I was under the assumption that the friction zone will ride up when it breaks in, as in you want the friction zone at the bottom of the pedal near the floor to begin with. It was like that to begin with but the friction zone has rode down, and now there's no resistance in the top 3/4 of the pedal. I've noticed the stick was getting very notchy but it was only last night that I made the link that it was hard going in and out of gear because the clutch was still engauged. This morning when it was cold I couldn't even put it in 1st or reverse without cutting it off, though when it warmed up the problem subsided. Is there anything I can do to change the friction zone on the pedal without dropping the tranny?

I'm going to bleed it tonight and see if that helps.
