Default LS2 with L76 intak, L92 heads and CZ06 cam setup

so what does everything think about this?

2006 C6 Z51, M6 LS2 with L76 intake, L92 heads (possibly milled to achieve 11:1 CR), CZ06 cam and LG headers setup....

I am thinking this would make about 500-520 hp

what does everyone think?
mind you, I want the stock driveablity, pass emissions and sound stock sound...

I think you have a bad cam choice for that horsepower. If a 427 isn't making that much, why do you think it will get you there?

I think 500 to 520 with a ported set of L92's is possible.

Hell LG is almost there with mostly stock heads and there test grind cam.

We are up late tuning and working on these packages for you guys, so stay tuned! I will upload the graphs later on tonight or tomorrow morning.

Thanks

Now change out the heads for a set of ported L92's (say PRC or LN) add on the Corsa stinger and a CAI (he's already listed going with LG Headers) and you should be able to hit 500 to 520 rwhp.

Oh and have the TB ported as the TB will be identical to the LS2 TB (as in porting it can get you anywhere from 2 hp to 10 hp on average with that kind of setup).

Default Cam Suggestion

For your goals, I would try an LPE GT11. I believe they cite the LS2 as an example in their info for this cam.

Basically, what you are saying is that you want to take a C6 Z06 motor, put a lower flowing head/intake combo on it, take away displacement and stroke, as well as the dry sump oiling and you expect it to make as much or more power?

Better heads, better intake, same compression and a bigger cam than a stock LS2 including bolt-ons, I'd say yes, you'd easily make 100 more CRANK HP.

Bolt on LS2's will make 390 RWHP, add heads, intake, cam should get you another 50 RWHP. "I'm calculating 440RWHP is comparable to 500 Crank HP"
