Default How can I reduce EGT?

EGT = Exhaust Gas Temperature

My friends header to y-pipe gaskets keep over heating and blowing out.

Is there a way to reduce EGT?

Well... to clarify, its actually a 3.6 V6 Toyota Pre-runner desert race truck with Gibson headers, CAI and a TRD roots blower.

After installing the headers, its been gasket after gasket and it sucks
