question about a 94 lt1
well my buddy found one he wants to buy and i found a few fishy things but i wanted to verify with you guys.....anywho it says its got an approx. 365 police interceptor package and normally i wouldnt of found it fishy but its a 6 spd. it also has 3.42 gears which is another thing i find fishy cuz i thought they either came with 2.73 gears or 3.23 but for the mileage none of this is too big a deal id just ask him to knock off the price....

3.42's are exactly what it should have for an M6. 2.73's and 3.23's were the axle ratios for A4 equipped cars.
Don't know what the hell this guy means about a "365 polic package". Sounds like BS to me. If it was a police/government duty vehicle it will have "B4C" in the list of RPO codes. On a '94, that sticker will be in the glovebox. However, a B4C was not much different than a Z28 so tell him to pound sand if he's trying to make it out to be super fast or super special in some way.
