ive been hearing some odd noises from the rear of my 02 z28.it only has 28,000 on the clock and was babied by the previous owner.it sounds like noisey tires when im driving down the road and when i come up to a stop it almost sounds like something is clanking around.doesnt really whine.could it be the diff going or maybe a axle bearing.its slowley getting worse.thanks

They all have that, sounds like a bad U-joint as your coming to a stop right? Its the backlash in the ring and pinion eminating through the drive shaft

Is that just the torsen unit because my 98 6spd did not sound like my 02?
