I have the "MTI Y1" 234/240 598/608 111lsa on a stock headed 2002 Z06 LS6 243 castings of course? please pm, me MTI states that I have to flycut?

On a 111, yes I would think so too.

I'd bet you would have to if you wanted to stay within spec. You'll prolly have a thinner gasket which will make the clearance even worse.

then why don't you have to flycut for a MS4 and it is on a 111lsa and a bit larger

i installed a Trex on a LQ9 6.0 with 243 heads ...didnt have to fly cut.. motor comes to 11.1cr which has flat top pistons
