what's the diff between '98-'02 throttle bodies??? are there better years?????

Default what's the diff between '98-'02 throttle bodies??? are there better years?????

hey guys....

i never heard of a difference between the '98-'02 throttle bodies, but i was just told differently by someone looking for cores. also, is there a way to tell the difference between the years?

Hey the difference is the cam drive for the throttle shaft. 98-99 have the smaller cam and 00-02 have a larger cam. the housing's themselves are the exact same although i find that the earlier ones have more casting flaws that the latter ones. Housings can be interchanged. Tim
