Default 1999 TA wheel/drag radial recommendation

What is the recommended largest wheel size and drag radial combination without any modifcations for 1999 Trans Am?

I'm thinking about buying new rims for the rear. Hoping I might find wheels that look stock so I keep the stock front wheels and replace rear. It appears 15x10 is fairly popular with 275/50/15's. Just not familair with rolling fenders, spacers and whatnot. Basically looking for a recommend wheel/tire to replace rear for hook hoping to avoid modifications to make fit.

You can run a 315 nitto on a 9" wheel perfectly fine without any modification. If you are looking at going to a 15" drag wheel though, the Welds and Pro Stars are pretty popular, 275's seem to be popular on those whees. 15x10 is a popular size, with non, to minimal modification.

If you want the Welds, be prepared to grind your calipers alot to get them to fit. You'll want the 7.5" backspacing on 15x10s, 5.5" on 15x8s if you go that route. You will see the most gain if you also run the skinny 15x3.5s on the front b/c you'll get rid of alot of rotational weight.
