i am moving from atlanta soon to spring texas. are there any dragstrips on the north side of houston. 1/8 1/4. i know there is a big one on the south side. are there any car clubs or local websites. thanks shaun

Spring is about 30 minutes from HMP, which is on the NE side of town. It is 1/8 mile. HRP is on the far east side of town, about an hour from Spring (1/4 mile). Lonestar is about an hour and a half west of Houston in Sealy,TX (1/4 mile)

No shortages of tracks here in Houston, HMP may be an 1/8 mile, but I have always have a blast racing there. HRP would be closer to you for a full 1/4 mile track than Seally would be.

I just moved to Spring and really like it. Hope the move goes smooth; lots of good tracks around here. Texas World Speedway is in College Station (1.5 hrs North) and there's MSR houston in South Houston (about 1 hr away) if you're into the twisties.
