Default LS1 Flywheel

I am probably going to be asking lots of questions so bear with me guys. I am wanting to use my current transmission with my LS conversion. I have a Kiesler 5 speed with about 5000 miles on it so no T56 for me. At this point I plan on using my stock bellhousing. Is there any special concerns I should be aware of when it comes to the flywheel. I am sure it has to be an LS flywheel.

Any details greatly appreciated.

I don't think your input shaft is going to reach the crank. Unless you can get a long pilot bearing, it will be about 3/8" too short, I think. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in here. What spline is your input shaft?

I have been told I need the long input bushing. The input shaft is the fine spline. I can't remember exactly, seems like 24 splines.
