Default Wiring repair

My passenger side wiring to the oxygen sensor was burned through and I'm wondering if splicing this wire back together is acceptable. The burned wire is in the harness bundle that runs down from the computer to the o2, oil level, etc on the passenger side.

It should be fine as long as you eliminate any burnt wire/rubber/plastic...

Make sure to wrap the wires in electrical tape and cover them with convoluted tubing you can get from Autozone in any color you want...

Soldering them would help, but isnt required, just make sure to twist the wires together tightly and in a fashion that they will not come apart.

That aluminized tape is also good for that...

Thanks, I was hoping that I wouldn 't have to replace that harness.
