Unhappy daily driver got rear ended by a pt cruiser

My 94 Ford Ranger was hit from behind while I was stopped at a red light by a Chrysler PT Cruiser Saturday night at 50 mph with no skid mark signs of slowing down from the PT. My steering is busted, my rear axle is bent at a forward angle. The whole front end of the PT is smashed. everyone is ok but my truck is gone. I managed to turn to the left and I almost missed the car in front of me. She was a high school senior on her phone. I even had to help get her out of her car. The door was jambed shut. I am sore but it was neat. I have never been in a wreck and I am 33. I am so glad I decided not to uncover my car and take it out instead. So now I am looking at old LT1 style V6's for a daily driver. I will make it look like the LT1 Hawks but no lettering. I just want the look of it so I have both F-Body styles. I still have my stock motor that can go in the V6 car or a GN drivetrain down the road.

seeing things like this make me rethink my decision of having a nice f-body/gto as a daily driver!

How do 16-25 year old males have the highest insurance rates when **** like this happens almost every day? Glad you're ok, though. Make sure her insurance buys your next car.

Males get the most speeding tickets, and other tickets, but it's hard to believe we cost the insurance companies more money.

Thanks guys. I am suprized I made it this long without a wreck. I have had real close encounters to some but never got hit.

This happened on Atascocita road and woodland hills light. Right next to the Atascocita Fire Department and Kroger/Sonic.

I debated on taking the car out Mike. Luckily, I didn't want to move the truck and uncover the car. By the way the car still runs great since we edited that TQ management!!!
