Default Opinions on this engine setup?

I'm getting back from a deployment in a few months, and have a little extra money to spend. I want to upgrade my engine a little but, but want to keep it FAIRLY stock, for the most part. What do you think about this setup, or do you know anyone who has done this?

LS2 Fuel Rails w/40lb. injectors
C5 Z06 cam
Port & Polish stock LS1 heads ( 0.8 ratio of exhaust to intake)

Why do the rails and injectors????
FWIW, unless you plan on doing the labor yourself, the money to swap cams will not make the Z06 cam worth it, IMO.

No need for the rails and injectors. If you plan on staying that tame, the stock ones are fine. The cam isn't worth the trouble IMO, but stepping up to something like a MTI "Stealth" cam or a Thunder "Old Man" cam might be more suitable. As for the heads, who knows. Without knowing anything about them, it's hard to say.
