Default what mods to do to a stock lq9?

I've got one from a 02 escalade and want to kick it up a notch before I put in in a s10. I'm thinking of an ls6 intake setup with a 228/228 112 cam and a 3200 stall (4l60e trans with 3:42s). Any suggestions?

Here is a mild 6.0 combo.

I believe it was a lq4 though.

nice combo, stay away from ls1 heads,to much comp, its hard on the bottom end of a stock motor, plus your heads have bigger runners anyways

ive got a 6.0 liter too and ive been looking around for what cam would be best too. its an lq4 with a comp ratio or 10.25-1. I bought a cam kit because it was a good deal and it cam with a mti y1 camshaft which is way too big for me so im trying to sell that and get a different one. i was looking at a 228r but people keep saying that you can go bigger. I just dont want a powerband that goes beyond 6500

Same case here. Id like to see some cam only dyno numbers on a stock 6.0. 6500/6600 is as hard as want to turn it. Im seriously thinking of milling the heads .30 .
