Default Final Jepordy Quiz ... 572 Crate in a C6?

Sorry for a potentially dumb question, but here goes....

Is dropping a 572 GM Deluxe Crate engine into a 2006 C6 vette a possibility?

Next...if so, do you think it can be done for under $ 20K?

Thanks in advance, you guys are the best.

If you can fit it under the hood......you better be ready to build a completely new chassis to hold up that motor. I've never heard of it being done though. As far as keeping it under 20k...sorry, not so much. EVERYTHING would have to be changed. The only thing that would still be considered on 06 C6 vette would be the fenders and doors.

Thanks for the quick responses, just what I had figured.

Going to look back into the 427 route.

Damn, that 572 looked sweet.

i say go 427 LS1 (using MID sleeves) then add a HP twin turbp kit.

will make a relativly easy 1000bhp (guy in dubi is doing it using a C56 block).

thanks Chris.

With the new aftermarket blocks, the LSx isn't limited to 427....500+ is now possible.

And don't forget that the replacement for displacement is BOOST! You'd end up with more power, better driveability, and spend less money going boosted than trying to cram a big block in there. Not a sermon, just a thought.
