Default Hp tuners- Car and truck question

I did a search but its being screwy on me. I think I am being to specific. Anyhow.

If I were to get HP tuners for my car. Would I also be able to tune my buddy's truck?

I mean its the same plug-in right? What about the software?

Depends on the year. If it is OBD-II, then yes. Supported vehicles.

I have no idea how you found that lol. I guess I overlooked it. hahaa

You would have to purchase the license to be able to tune it though, I think its 2 credits for a specific VIN# (only that vehicle) at $50.00 a credit, but I think it comes with 10 credits.

Well he is the only person with a truck that I think I will be doing anything with so I will probably only get the vin specific for his.

However I got a bunch of friends with f-bodies of just about all years so I will get them to help me buy the whole year models.

yeah his 04 would just use 2 of the 8 credits that come with your initial purchase.
