hey guys ive got a used clutch that i would like to install in my car. however im not very familiar with clutch material. how much material should there be thickness wise? size of a quarter? nickel? couple pennys? i just dont know. any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

Get a cheap micrometer from a tool shop. My tex was .300" new. I just mesured it after 4K miles and it has .264". It's still good.
