Just tuned with HP Tuners and a couple q's.
I have full boltons and a tr224 cam, for some reason the car will not make power over 5600 on motor, and on a 150 shot it just levels off at 5100. Does anyone know what could be restricting me? Is it in the tune? For some reason the maf wouldnt lean out enough so the VE tables had to be changed to make the top end leaner (13's) instead of 10's.

What intake are you running? If its an LS1 intake thats a big part of the problem, they choke real bad up top. When i switched from the ls1 to an ls6 intake it was a big change up top.
BTW VE isnt even used after 4000 rpm's, so changing that will have nothing to do with top end fueling. MAF takes care of it.

Something is in that tune man, the VE table is not used past 4k if the MAF is still active. Use the PE to adjust the WOT fueling AFTER you have your VE and MAF dialed into the correct AFR. Was the VE dialed in before the MAF was done? This is probably one of the reasons your car is doing this. Timing is also another thing to look at.

Set you PE to whatever AFR you want and then tune the MAF table to acheive accurate airflow (commanded AFR=actual AFR)

I let someone else do the tuning for me... Ill post up the graphs when I get to the house. The first thing he did when I got on the dyno was tune the maf at wot and then he took it off the dyno and tuned the ve tables for part throttle. He said that for some reason he couldnt get the maf to lean out enough over 5600 so he changed the PE tables to lean it back out. He also said that wasnt the right way, but the only way he could do it.

It does peak a bit early, but I wouldnt worry about it because it is still making plenty of power even after peak. It doesnt just peak and then drop off. Some AFR and timing tuning on the top end may help you with that upper end. Did you data log during the run?
