Default parking brake lever "slips" sometimes

My parking brake works well. But every once in a while, when I pull the lever up, it just barely starts to get tension, and then it slips completely. doesn't grab at all. if I release it and pull up again, it will work great.

I have an m6 so this kind of worries me. don't want it rolling away!

I did a search, but couldn't find any one with the same problem.

any one have any ideas?

Very common. Just don't pull it up so fast. I don't know the cause but it has been the same on my last 3 birds.

I have an A4 and rarely use mine - but it has done it to me a few times over the years...I wouldn't worry about it, happens a lot.
