Default will 315's rub?

im about to order some 17x9.5 and 17x11's for the rear from tomzwheels and they said the 315's wont rub i just wanted to make sure i shouldnt have any problem i thought i had heard somewhere they do. does anyone have trouble fitting this size or do they work great? thanks alot

Some cars they fit fine others need a little help, just varies sometimes and the tire being used also can impact this (some tire brands fit wider).

With the 50mm offset recommended for Fbodies you might need to 'massage' the inner fender in certain spots but not too much. If you lower the car possibly a little more 'massaging'.

Also always good idea to roll fender just in case.

You'll love the look though compared to our stockers

I heard Nitto DR's will fit a little better than other DRs fyi...

I just put my 315 Nitto 555Rs on last night.. no problems. BUT it can vary from car to car, worst you would have to do with the Nittos is a little BFH.

Mine fit fine with the Sumitomos - never rubbed. With BFG KDs, it rubbed some on the inside, so did bfh mod. No issues since. Car is lowered 1.25". Neither ever rubbed fender even at the track.

I had to take the bump stops off and BFH the inside. My Yoko's are pretty wide though, contact patch is like 13-13.5 inches, looks ******* sick though worth the banging.
