Default Timing Dial??

A friend of mine was telling me about this box he got with a timing dial so that he could retard his timing for nitrous runs and then set it back to normal to make a NA run. Where can you get this for an LS1? Are they good to use? Worth it?

you could always get EFI LIVE's custom OS5 where this feature is available via a discreet signal to the PCM. Its all automatic then.

Sounds like it's a Timing Tuner. It's kind of like a MAF Translator, but for timing.

alot of the GTP guys use these...basically its a switchable resistor for the IAT...you setup your IAT adder table the way you want it to pull timing & just switch it from one setting or another depending on how much boost or nitrous you plan on running. They are usually referred to as a Happy **** in that community.

Yeah, I really didnt wanna spend $300 bucks. I guess it would be better than robbing horse power if my bottle isnt hooked up.
