Which Head Gaskets?
Ok i think i have decided on the 5.3l stage 2.5 heads and a torquer v3 cam. Does that sound like a good combo or would the ls6 heads work better with the v3?
Anyway im going to be ordering the head gaskets soon and i need to know which is the best to get, can i go with the stock GM MLS gaskets? or should i get the cometics, and if so which one. I wanna make sure i have a safe compression ratio and not have to worry about ptv clearance.
And is there anyway to figure out what my compression would be with those heads?

Yeah the numbers in my sig were from the old setup with a LS6 intake. I was pleased with what it made...was shooting for 425-450 rwhp, and 430 was fine with me.
Only reason I changed setups was because one of the LS6 heads came apart on me. So TSP hooked me up and sent me a set of the 2.5 5.3s in exchange. While I had the car apart, I figured I'd go with the FAST 90/90 setup and some LTs.
Hoping for good numbers...but if it puts down 430 again, that's cool to. I have a feeling thought that if all goes well, this combo should put down 450 or so to the wheels.
Especially after I get the FAST ported by Vengeance.
Clearance on the V2 *should* be fine. I have a friend that just ordered the same heads with the V3 and it'll clear. Might want to double check though...I'm not sure of the specs on either of those cams.
I'm running the 233/239 .595/.603 and it should be good to go with the 5.3s.
