Default Performance Transmission Mount...

Just curious...I just had my motor mounts replaced with original GM ones at the dealer. My transmission mount is shot as well should I replace it with a performance mount or should I just buy another GM one? Is it bad to use a performance one with stock motor mounts?

i would personally go with a poly urethane mount you can get from energy suspensiom, autozone carries it also from energy suspension. it will last longer and handle more abuse than the stock rubber mount

Also having normal engine mounts and poly tranny mounts could completely twist the bellhousing off the motor.

only if you dont install it right. some people dont read directions and end up putting the spacer in there. which you shouldnt and thats what causes the vibration.
