Default bad road absorbsion

i recently installed a moser 9 inch and ever since then when im driving around and hit a bump it sounds and feels like the rear is gonna go through my floorboard. no i looked under to see if anything is hitting or rubbing and i found nothing. i am still using the stock springs and shocks and sway bar too, all that stuff has only 40,000 miles on them. any ideas what could be the problem or what needs to be done....thanks guys

unsprung weight is dealt with by the compression damping. You added weight with your axle, to shocks that were horribly bad at dealing with the 10-bolt..... Some better shocks would help. I'd say either 3rd gen Koni's (what we are putting on a magazine car this weekend with an S60) or Koni DA's. Note that I don't normally recommend DA's, but this is one case where they extra mass gives us a reason to have, and make some use of the compression adjustment.
