Default 1 3/4 FLP LT headers enough for 408?

Will the 1 3/4 FLP LT headers be enough for a 408 or would something bigger be needed?

Ive seen some of MTI 427 cars with the FLP and I have FLP on my car and if I was going to a bigger cubic inch I would try to run them. Good Luck

with your cubes I may look into the 1 7/8 stepped to 1 3/4 headers. or even the 1 7/8 if you are FI. If you already have them then keep them and use them.

How fast do you want to spend?

The 1-7/8's will gain you more top end power, but not most people are more than happy running the 1-3/4's. There's even been accounts of people loosing a little bottom end TQ, even on a 408.
