13.19 @107 bone stock 2000 WS6 formula stick
I ran my car last spring at Rockfalls Raceway in WI. It ranged from a 13.57 to 13.19 I put about a dozen passes on it and the only way I could get it to 60 was by totally sliding the clutch. Im thimking about going with a new Dana 60 with 4.30 s and some 28" tall slicks, but I cant find any slicks that are 28" tall with a 17" rim what do you all think?

As for a 28" tall tire on a 17" rim, its kinda retarted on how tall the tire will be just to give a sidewall that will be = to a regular 15" rim with a 28" tall tire.
Reason why people go with the 28" tall tire is the side wall flex, if you dont have it, then the shock may make the tires break loose.
I say get a M/T street radial for your 17" and enjoy, I have them and they hook like a mother f*cker

Cool thanks for the imput. As far as the clutch goes it didnt survive the trip to the track so I will be doing that as well. The reason I want the 28" tire is partlly for the look and and like you said to soften the launch shock. The problem is the ws6 brakes won"t allow me to put on a smaller rim.

m&h racemaster 275/50/17 drag radials or 325/45/17 drag radials those are both 28" tall.Check wheels & tires there was a thread a few days ago.Don't know how good they are but they look cool.
