Default LS1 TA Foglight replacement.

I've got a foglight out, and I removed the old, broken light. However, the new piece would not slide in correctly, and the metal connection for the bulb snapped. Now I have two dead bulbs in my foglight housing.

What is the easiest way to remove the housing?
Feel free to advise or post a DIY link. I saw one, but it was only for LT1 models.

Thanks in advance.

did you try to install it as one unit or did you seperate light from bracket.... i myself seperated the two then loosely fit them in then reattacted the plastic push pins then mounted with bolts... it was a major PITA

I'm slightly lost by what you mean here. When we slid the new bulb into the housing, it broke. With the plastic connector (female end, from the bulb) now sitting on my back seat, and the glass bulb/filament/filament holders sitting as one piece at the bottom of the housing.

nah, I'm asking if there's a simple way to remove the housing. I don't want to unbolt a ton of stuff I don't need to.

I just want to get the old glass out of the housing.

You would have to unbolt the lower radior guard on the bumber, then unbolt the actual housing and pull it out.
