im pretty sure the rally wheels a 7 inch wide. max reccomended is 245-255.
you could fit a 275/60 but it will have a lot of tire buldge.my only concern would be if the would fit in the rear fender and the novas rear fenders kinda skinny and is the tire tucked in them?

Stock wheels are pretty narrow, I'd stick with less than 275 wide on those. Your car can probably fit a 285 wide tire if you run a 9"-10" wheel on it.

My 70 Nova had 275/60's on 15x7 rallys. These had a 3.5" BS. These were too narrow, but fit with a little cutting of the fender lip. If you run them low on air, they work well, but will wear the centers quickly.

I always wanted to run 15x8 rallys, but they had a 3.5" BS. This stuck them out 1/2" further than the 7" wheel. Major fender interference. A 4" BS would put them in the same location as the 7" wheels.

Now there are some rally wheel manufacturers that will make custom backspaces. A 275 w/ a 4.25 BS will likely hit the shock area of the fender well & require some modifications, but it will tuck them under the car. If I had to do it over, I would likely use a 4.25" BS & add a small spacer (1/8" to 1/4") if I had to. This wheel would let you use the 15x7 trim ring also.

Mine had 275/60's on it when I got it(monoleaf car). Corvette rally wheels 15X8 5.5bs. Fender lips rolled they only rubbed the paint off the inside fender well. They were BFG's. I have since replaced the suspension with ladderbars and coilovers and minitubbed, running 28X12.5X15 MT's on a 15X10 7.5BS.
