cleaning polished aluminum
Just wondering the process every body uses to clean their polished wheels. What is a good product to take out small water spots? I use a mothers polish but it does not seem to take the water spots out after alot of hand buffing. Is it ok to apply a wax to the wheels after polishing will that help keep them clean alittle bit longer. Just post up your methods. Thanks alot.

Water spots are usually damaged and the only way to remove it is to tear the aluminum down to that level, just under the damage and the Mother's polish isn't going to do it on its own. You could try one of their powerballs with a drill and see if that's aggressive enough to kill the waterspots. Scratch Remover is aggressive enough for it, but it's not recommended on unpainted surfaces.
