Default size of stock tb??

What is the size of a stock LS1 tb? Is a LS6 tb any bigger? What about the openings on the intakes? LS1 vs LS6? I'm swapping intakes and would like to know if the LS6 tb is any larger? oh the search is down i tried.

LS6 is the same size as the LS1 TB...in fact they're the same part. I'm 99% sure it's a 78mm opening. You could port the opening on the intake if you wanted but the TB is still going to be the bottleneck. Best thing to do is throw on an LS6 intake with a ported TB or go with a FAST 90/90 combination.

A stock throttle body is listed as a 75mm. The lip in front of the blade (which you remove while porting) actually only makes it around a 72.5mm throttle body.
