Default CATS or no??

Just wondering how many people here with the GMMG chambered exhaust are running with cats. I've heard if you have this exhaust your gonna wanna have CATS to help with rasp. I know of one guy with the system and he was running with cutouts in his y pipe ??

ditch'em!!!

cats barely hold back any power so its up to you. they filter out rasp and keep the noise down. however i got an ORY, LT's and open borla and love it

all depends on what catback you go with....i HATE my loudmouth now (so do my neighbors) but, thats obvious. i heard a gmmg for the first time today on an 11sec cammed ss and it had cats. sounded BEAUTIFUL man

Ha, my neighbors hated my exhaust. I ditched the cats, muffler, catback and drove a 4400 stalled, 4.10 geared 24x cammed car home everynight around 10-11. I'm driving a honda during the build..but they'll be unhappy again soon =)

In all honestly though, I would go with a nice high flow cat. You will not lose much, if any, power from it. It also helps drown out raspiness and drone. Run an electric cutout and be loud when you need to and quiet her down when you need to.

I'm not so much worried about it being loud I've just heard that with the gmmg exhaust which is what i plan on getting that without cats it is raspy but if its not that bad without the cats im just gonna dich them cheaper that way i think .

from what i've heard in past experience....if you dont have cats, you're gonna be loud and raspy. end of story. i could be wrong though
