Default Speed Density Tuning w/LS1 Edit

Hey guys,

I don't have a wideband O2 sensor and want to get started SD tuning my F-body w/LS1 Edit and my Ease diagnostic software. Where's a good place to start? What all do I have to shut off or disconnect?

Mike

what year & tranny?

before you go any further though, I would never recommend SD tuning to someone without a wideband...so it might be time to invest a couple bucks in one...JMO

I was in the same situation several years back. There is only one good solution, buy a wideband, and HP Tuners.

aight your in luck...many of the 98-00 operating systems when thrown into SD will command max line pressure...that you really won't have to worry about. In reality to enter speed density mode all you need to do is disconnect your maf sensor. If you want to enter Speed Density open loop youll also need to either disconnect one of your front o2 sensors or setup your open loop ECT table to a higher value then you'll ever actually see ie 284*F or something.
