Default shocks?

Whenever i go over speed bumps my car is real bouncy mainly the rear end. Does this mean i need new shoccks

Could be, it also could be 15 other things too, or any combination there of.

How many miles are on your car? My 02 only has 43,000 and I just replaced my shocks and they were shot for sure. I'd also make sure everything in the suspension was good and tight too.

My car has 56k miles. Do you mean like the bushings?

not the bushings, but the bolts that secure all your suspension. Play in the suspension fittings will also cause the car to bounce more than it should because the shocks can't maximize their potential.

Park your car and push down on the front and rear ends. If the car bounces up and down more than a few times then I would replace your shocks first.
