ford 8.8 in an f-body?

ford 8.8 in an f-body? just so you understand I haven't started this project just wondering if anyone has done this yet?
seams like there are plently of 8.8 rear ends available used which are whorth rebuilding.
well I guessing nobody wants to make a ford 8.8 fit an F-body.
what's the big deal just weld some spring perches .
or is it to hard to attach a torque arm?
