Default When to apply caliper decal?

Im stuck behind with decals coming in late and want to get these calipers painted...when do you put on the decals?? right after u have it painted? or does it not matter?Thanks Jason

paint them then put on decals then clear over the decals

i know you pain them first but do u put them on right after u paint them, after they dry...or can i wait a day or so n them put them on...i do have a clear coat i do plan to use on top of them

paint, let dry, then apply decal, then clear over it.
