Default Plastic slave?

I have a '99 Camaro. I bought a slave from a chevy dealer about a year ago, I thought that there was only one slave available for all years, the updated one. I told them I needed a slave for a '99 Camaro but the one they gave me is plastic and all the pictures I've been seeing of other ones show that they are metal. I thought the po for the updated one was 15046288 but I can't find that number on it.

Anyone have expeirence with the plastic part that I have? It also has a different bleeder on it, The slave body isn't threaded for the bleeeder ext. it has a roll pin holding it in.

Any thoughts on this, I'm thinking about **** canning it while I have the tranny out becuase its plastic. Wish I still had the reciept from when I bought it.

I think you might have the wrong one, I have never seen a plastic slave cylinder.
