Why 3.5 skinnies?

3.5" because its the skinniest and lightest with lots of options for good light weight tires as well. The skinnier the front rim and tire is the less weight, less friction, and lower coeffectivent of drag it will have.

Just be aware your car will not stop the same on the street with a 3.5" fronts. It's only an issue when you have to do a hard stop say to avoid an accident the car will skid trust me I know.

That why Im lookin before I leap. Ill use them on the street too so Im lookin to compromise and figure even a 15/4.5 or 5" is still way ahead of a 17/10. And why wont the welds fit up front?
