Silly Clutch install Question
Ok, I have a question I feel dumb for asking. I had to remove my crank for machining which basically involved taking my whole car apart. One of the things I took apart was the clutch. I've started reassembling everything and got the clutch and transmission back onto the engine today. Now I'm sitting around doubting the work I did.
Which way does the clutch face? I have a puck type clutch, which came in my used 2000 Camaro SS. I'm assuming it is stock, but who knows. It has no springs and looks exactly like this one (ignore the pressure plate).

It fits both ways, but the splines are not centered. I'm worried that the way I have it, not all the splines are engaged on the input shaft. If anyone who has taken this thing apart remembers how it goes back together, please let me know. I've been searching the internet and alldata for hours trying to find a clue.
thanks!
Tom
