Just purchased 1999 WS6
I just bought 1999 Ram Air WS6 with auto. I am used to racing old muscle ( I have a 1970 and 1971 Firebirds ). I race the 70 ( runs mid 10's) and my wife the 71 ( runs low 12's). So the LS1 engine is all new to me. I will be racing it to though.
I have lots of questions and not really sure where to start. The car is stock with the exeption of the rear end was changed to 3.73. I would like to get this car to run mid 12's and still be able to drive anywhere with the air on.
I also got a couple of computer programs with the car ( not sure what they are ). Was also given a DRY Nitrous system with the car that is not installed. I have never used Nitrous on my other 2 cars. I have always been kind of afraid of Nitrous . Please point me in the right direction.

Welcome aboard. I'm a traditional Pontiac guy that made the leap as well. It is hard to ignore nearly thirty years of technology since the last Pontiac v8 rolled off. My 99 is a driver for me during the good parts of the year.
I'm no expert on the LS1 myself, but you are on the right forum.
