Need advice lt1 to LS1 iron ive got a few questions
Next month i planned on building an lt1 motor forged 383 bottom end to go in my 95 z. A guy at my work has an LT1 block and a 5.3 iron gen III block w/heads he would sell me. My only problem is the rotating assembly for an lt1 isnt that much cheaper than one for an ls1. I started reading into it, and found out 408 iron gen III's making 530hp to the wheels. so what would you all do in this case, save some money with an lt1 or build an ls1? anyone here do the conversion?
are the truck heads any good or not?
