Question 4L80E in Fox Body

I've seen the threads were 4L60E's have been placed in fox body's. What about it's big brother the 4L80E? Any body atempted this?

From what I've read there is slight messaging for a 4L60E to fit. I'm still looking for the dimesions of these two so I can do some comparing...

It also depends on how far back you set the motor/trans. If you put it right on the firewall, you're going to have to cut the tunnel -- no amount of massaging will make it fit. If you move the motor forward you can probably fit it with some hammering.

I can see that being a problem, I'm not going to push it too far back.
