Default Right Heads for 98?

Ok i will do only heads for my car and no cam.

Let me explain why.

When i understand right than the 98 had from the factory bigger injectors (28) and a slightly bigger cam. The only thing why they have on a dyno not so much power is the bad heads. Is this right so? Than i think when i swap to later heads or portet versions (AFR) i would be slightly over the other stock LS1 because the 98 have a slightly bigger cam and injectors? Is my way right?
With the other Bolt-Ons i will be have good numbers i think.

So what for heads should i take for my 98?

Thanks for the help

You're doing it backwards. Non perimiter bolt pattern will require valve covers and coil brackets.

You'd benefit more from a cam, but first do bolt ons (headers, stall, ported TB and a retune)

Your best bang for the buck rite now would be a LS6 intake and port your TB.

Yep, serious waste of money. You've got to get supporting mods before you'll see any real benefit from heads. Namely, intake, headers, ported tb, etc.

The bolt ons came first of course.

My problem is that in germany had TÜV and ASU (for emissions) so can do no headers (no TÜV) and no cam (i am not sure but i think than i will have some problems with the ASU-emissions). So i will make only lid, smooth below,tb,LS6 intake, catback+tune. So was my idea to change the crappy heads from the 98 to gain some hp more.
