Cruize control?
I am swapping a 6.0 Liter engine/tranny from a 2004 truck into my kit truck which is based on a 1990 platform. My guys know (hopefully how to get everything to fit. I am retaining the fly by wire and am using the gas pedal from the 2004 truck with the computer and wire harness. I will likely use an aftermarket shifter like b&M although I haven't researched what shifter would be best.
Two questions
1. What shifter would you recommend for this application.
2. How do I get the cruize control set up? can I rig it simply as an on off switch on the dash? what have you done?
3. Can I do the same push button system for the tow/haul mode that the tranny is set up with?
Thanks

2. You can put a switch on the dash, or the 1990`s turn signal/cruise lever from a chevy truck/car will operate the cruise.
3. You can put a tow/haul mode button in. Use a momentary pushbutton to ground a terminal on the PCM. I think that you have to enable that option in the PCM before it will work. If you do a search there is a Tow/haul mode button thread in this forum.
