New Dyno#'s - WTF is Going On?
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...prey/dyno2.jpg I've been chasing this problem for almost 2 years- I can't seem tomake over 700rwhp.
Originally,I spoke to Speed Inc about this issue and theysaid that the stock twin intercooler could be a restriction so I had a custom Spearco made and it didn't fix the problem.
Then it was the springs on the heads - fixed that, but still the same issue.
The problem is that (see below) at the top of the run (after 5800 rpms) it stops making power - there is no belt slippage, at least not enough to create this problem.
I'm beginning to wonder if it is just out of cfm- my set-up is a 410ci, afr 225, FAST intake 90/90 throttle body, cam 224 232 .581 .595 114.
I need some opinions about what the problem could be - It's driving me CRAZY!

My goal has been to make @ or over 800 rwhp but no matter what I do I stay around the low 700's I even tried a 75 shot of nitrous and only picked up 20rwhp (on the old set-up). So somethings wrong.

Looks like you might have a little power left in your upper end by leaning out your AFR to more like 11.6-11.8. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up another 20HP easily.
You have some good numbers already, though...

The grapgh doesnt look like its maxing out. I would assume that if the head unit maxed out, you would see a good fall off at some point and the HP and TQ curve look steady. Are you running a 2/ 3 bar speed density setup?

im with the cam too small. when first getting mine built everyone said my cam was too big. not anymore..... i know the D1 will max out on my setup but be it i see 707 w/ 9psi on the 4.00" pulley im not even gonna worry about it. talk to cam motion about getting yourself a new cam first is what id do. im on a 24x/25x

Maybe its time to rebuild the blower? I read that somewhere on corvette forum so guy couldnt make over 480rwhp on 8psi or even on 12psi. ended up selling the blower and getting a new one.
